The Andres 3rd Annual Halloween Party!

We love Halloween and always look forward to our annual Halloween Party. I just love to see the different Halloween Costumes. It's a lot of work to put together these parties with the food, decorations, and specialty drinks all while trying to take care of 2 kiddos but it's always worth it at the end b/c they are so much fun!!!  The guys took the kids to Chick-Fil-A and Greaters so my sister and I could put everything together.  I'm so grateful for all the help!

The past two years we've borrowed decorations from my sister and a friend but we finally have gathered enough of our own decorations!

Boo Cupcakes!
I know, I make these every year...Bloodshot deviled eggs.
7 Layer Spider Web dip but really it was a 6 layer dip since we forgot the cheese!!
Spider Cupcakes
Wicked Cosmos!

Originally I wanted to be a Roller Derby girl but it was impossible to find a pair of roller skates for a reasonable price for one day so since Corey had the cow costume we decided I could be a farmer.
Sam the hippie!
My BIL loves the Waffle house and he went there for breakfast and asked the waitress if she had an extra apron he could borrow and she did!!  He gave it back the next day.  My sister the Chef which she is already an amazing chef.
My friend Rita the India girl.  She even painted her hands, it was pretty cool!
When I saw Amanda and Kent walk in the door I laughed so hard that my "fake" black tooth came off.  She told me she was going to be Jersey Shore peeps but I wasn't expecting her to be Pauly D and him to be Snooky!  Too funny.
Referee and cave girl
Boobs!  I love the creativity on this one!
Bloody Brains!
The fun Mommies! ;)
The game was a home game and started at 8 so a lot of people we knew went to the game but these guys came after the game even if it was after 1am! :)

Cousin Time!

My sister, BIL and niece came in town on Thursday for our Halloween Party. They came a little early b/c there were a lot of Halloween events for the kids that we wanted to do together. The kids had a lot of fun with their cousin and they all got along really well. Olivia kept saying "Gabri is my friend." I would tell her Gabri is your cousin!

Gabri loves the show Olivia, which, my kids don't watch and I watched it for the 1st time this week and it's such a cute show!  Gabri says "Eeevia!"  So cute.

Olivia is so happy to be with her cousin!
Look at all these teeth coming in!!
Here we are at 'The Great Pumpkin Hunt'  It was so cold that we had to get out their winter coats and hats.  I just love Olivia's coat.
My gym had a Halloween Party and it was so fun.  Olivia even let her favorite Kids Zone worker paint her face for the 1st time.  She wanted a candy corn b/c she loves to eat them but she wanted it to be pink instead of  yellow, because pink is her favorite color.
Luca wanted a ghost painted on his face.
This is Allison that works in the Kids Zone. Olivia loves her and we've even had her babysit for us once last year.  She's going to nursing school.
Ring toss!
OMG. This pic cracks me up because it is not posed, he was actually doing this on the dance floor.  He loves his costume and gets so into character.
My sweet Little Red Riding Hood.  This is the room where I take all of my cardio classes and they darkened the room and decorated it and had Halloween music on for the kids to dance. Olivia loves to dance and I'm so excited to register her for ballet classes that will be on Saturdays.  They have to be 3 but they told me I could sign her up and see how she does  I think she'll do great bc she loves to dance and has great rhythm and will try imitate moves I do.
Gabriell loves to dance, too!  Chris told me that Luca said to her "Shake your booty, girl!"

Dr. Luca Andres

After the kids took a shower they wanted to play "doctor".  Luca asked me "what' wrong?" Does you belly hurt?  Let me check."  Then he lifted my shirt to check my belly and said "what's this?" He was pointing to my ribs. I said "you're the doctor, you tell me!" He said "it's a bone" That was my prognosis. He then proceeded to tell me that I could get 2 stickers.  I told him I wanted a buzz light year and woody sticker and he said they ran out and they only had spongebob stickers.  I love his imagination!

Olivia was playing with Corey today and he didn't see her and something happened I'm not even sure what and he said "I'm sorry" and she said "Say, I'm sorry princess!"  She's sassy!

More Fall Festivals...

Corey went to Toledo this weekend for Homecoming so I really didn't want to stay in when the weather was perfect for a fall day! I still have to say UA's festival was the best. This one was ok, I guess I was just spoiled from UA's where everything was free. This one you had to buy tickets for everything and the big bounce house was way too hard for even Elementary kids to climb.  Thankfully, some little girls father assisted Luca but Olivia didn't want any help and decided to get off.

This is them in line for the bouncy house.

He finally did it!  He got his face painted and he wanted a skeleton to match his shirt!
Cheesy Smiles!
We saw a friend there and Luca and Olivia were happy to see Nicole.
So this week there are even more festivities...I'm getting exhausted and I think the kids think it's normal to go to a festival every weekend.

Halloween Goes Hollywood Party in Worthington!

We took the kids to this event last night and it was so neat but also VERY crowded.  They had a "Red Carpet" area for the kids to walk on and they gave an Oscar to the best dressed.  Isn't that so creative?  They had this area where you could shake hands with this alien from a movie.

I was shocked that Luca even shook his hand. Olivia watched but didn't want to touch him.
Olivia was so excited to get candy.  She is definitely has the sweet tooth in the family.

I know this is blurry but this station was the "Tangled" station and they had Rapunzel and all her hair.  O is looking at Rapunzel.
This was the "Cars" station.
Star Wars.
Smurfette.
Luca's favorite..The Toy Story station.
He was so lovin' it.
Luca's new saying is "Whatever!"  Today the kids were eating their pancakes and Corey told Olivia she needed to eat and that it will make her grow.  Then Luca said "Olivia you need to eat so you can grow big and strong....whatever!"

My sweet little boy!

Luca is the sweetest little boy I know.  Usually after dinner we typically put some music on and let the kids dance around and burn some energy and we'll play with them.  The kids took the pillows off the couch and gave them to Corey and I to lay on and then they covered us with blankets and gave us kisses like they were putting us to bed.  Then Luca decided to cuddle up next to me and we started to talk about his day and I told him I was sad that he is growing up so fast.  He said "Don't be sad, Mommy.  It makes me sad when you're sad.  I want you to be happy."  How sweet is that?  I told him it was a good sad, not a bad sad.  He cuddled with me the rest of the night and kept giving me lots of hugs and kisses it was so sweet!!

Uncle Nay Nay

Uncle Nay Nay was here from Japan and stayed with us for the weekend. Uncle Nay Nay played the piano when he was younger, he also played other musical instruments in school and can speak fluently in Japan. See, people who play the piano are smart!

Here he is working with the kids on their flashcards.

Uncle Nay Nay can also speak Italian pretty well and was helping the kids learn Italian with their Italian book that I rarely use on them (which I really need to start!)

Baby Shower

Today I was supposed to go to Cedar Point with my Moms group with just the moms.  It was a gorgeous day, but REALLY WINDY.  Apparently they shut down the rides when it gets really windy and they shut down 7 of the big rides so we decided not to go.  I was invited to a baby shower and went to that instead.  When I came back Luca asked me "Did you get that baby cleaned?"

Creepside Festival

We took the kids to Creepside Festival last night in Gahanna. Luca has been so excited to wear his costume. During naptime, instead of napping he likes to go in his closet and put his costume on.

This is them checking out their costumes. :)

He gets so into character, he's just like his Dad. Corey gets the same way when he dresses up for Halloween.
To Infinity & Beyond!
They did this on their own "Nice to meet you, I'm Buzz."  Olivia said "Nice to meet you I'm Red Hood"  She can't say Little Red Riding Hood all together, it is kind of a tongue twister.
I decided to change her outfit b/c the event was outside and it was a little chili last night and wet from the rain so here she is in her Puppy Costume, I kinda liked this one better than LRRH costume.
Cheese!
She liked being a puppy.
She told me to take a picture of her tail, her favorite part of the costume.

I didn't get to take any pictures of the festival b/c my point and shoot camera's batteries were dead but they had a good time and got lots of candy.
