Wow, I haven't posted in such a long time. I've been so busy these past few years with my photography business. I have just loved capturing newborn babies the past 8 years or so. I started off just doing family portraits for friends as a little side gig to help pay for some of the kids school activities and things like competitive cheer, etc. I started to get busier and busier. I really enjoyed more of the newborn/milestone portion the most. I made a little studio out of my office. I bought a couple of backdrops and would photograph babies in my office studio using the natural light from my windows. When that started to work well, I would take some courses online and also did some mentoring courses which really helped and made me improve a lot. I was getting so busy and my little office space was so small. My clients would have to go in my living room to feed the baby.
I decided that since our basement wasn't finished I would get that finished and make a home studio out of it. It was so nice to have so much space to put all my props, backdrops, outfits, etc. From there my business really grew, quickly, too! I have really enjoyed capturing these babies and families and watching so many families grow right before my eyes!
Here's a link to my Website. I am newborn photographer in Central Ohio. My home studio is located in Upper Arlington, Ohio. I have all the props, backdrops, outfits, headbands, all you have to bring is the baby and I'll take care of the rest for you. I strive to make the session as stress-free as possible. I provide a nice seating area for the parents to relax during the session, you are able to watch Netflix, drink some Starbucks and have some snacks and relax! Some of my clients even take a nap as they are usually pretty tired. I typically like to photograph newborns when they are around 14 days new.
