The kids were super pumped to go to the fair this year! We were a lot more prepared this year than we were last year. Luca LOVED this slide and went down all by himself.
Last year, we bought tickets - most rides were 2 to 3 tickets per ride, per kid. One ticket cost $1 and some of the rides we had to go on because the kids weren't tall enough. We ended up spending a lot of money on just rides. This year, we bought a bracelet at Kroger that was discounted and we could all go on the rides as many times as we wanted and we packed a lunch since you can imagine how much a meal for 4 would be at the fair...not cheap. Olivia was able to go on most rides but with a parent.
They had a scavenger hunt sponsored by the Ohio Lottery. There were 6 stops and you'd get a stamp and a prize at each stop. We got chip clips, hand sanitizers (which was useful for the fair!), frisbees, balls, bandaids, and other cool useful little prizes.
Here's a pic of Luca's 1st roller coaster ride.

At the end of the scavenger hunt you had to go back to the Ohio Lottery tent and they did 42 drawings. At the beginning of the scavenger hunt, I was a little turned off b/c I wanted the kids to ride the rides and not walk all through the fair for this scavenger hunt, but Corey said since his Bday was the next day he was going to win.
Here's Luca on a bunny ride.

It was HOT b/c there was no shade and the people calling off the names didn't have a microphone so it was hard to hear. Corey was the 8th person they called! He got a bunch of scratch of lottery tickets, 4 passes to the fair, an XXL t-shirt (sad that is now the norm...it would've fit both of us), a towel and a cooler.
I think Olivia picked every PINK ride possible. :)

We had to ride the monkey ride for my little monkeys.
Oh my god, I love this picture of their faces!
Can you tell they were having a blast?
She loves chocolate especially chocolate ice cream. Luca had no ice cream on him and she got it everywhere. Corey said it was because he was in charge of Luca and I was in charge of Olivia.
I was taking this picture as I riding the slide with my big huge camera! I thought it was a neat shot.
I had to take about 30 pics to get a good shot of each of them!
Here's my best shot, I couldn't get rid of that little girls leg. Next year, I'll make sure they pick the seat on the outside.
