The Andres Family: Vacation in Michigan!

So I took the kids to Michigan to visit and invited myself to my sister's cottage in Sandpoint, MI! If you think of Michigan as a mitten it's at the tip of the thumb on Lake Huron. My sister had invited us the same weekend my brother-in-law was in town from Japan, so we weren't able to make it, but I still wanted to make a trip and I figured this was our last chance before we start our hectic fall schedule. The kids had a fabulous time and enjoyed every minute with their Zia. My sister was a wonderful hostess and always takes such good care of my kids like their hers, which I love. I took 185 pictures so these were my favorites out of all of them (there's a lot, as usual, but not in any order).

My sister's MIL bought this Superman cap and glasses for Luca. He absolutely LOVED it and wanted to wear it everywhere.

This was taken at my sisters house in Monroe. I want to get outdoor patio furniture like hers! This is one of my favorite pics of the girls. I think they seemed to bond a lot, it was so cute! I'm glad Olivia has Gabri since she will not have a sister like I do.

I love this pic. My sister told Olivia if she took a nap she would get ice cream. As soon as Olivia woke up she said "I took a good nap, I want Ice Cream!"

The three musketeers! Luca got to sleep in this tent at the cottage. He loved it and was so good about sleeping in it. Olivia on the other hand, had some issues with going to sleep at zia's.
