Ohio State Fair!

Today was the last day for the fair and I've been wanting to take the kids and we finally decided to go this morning. We went at 9am when they opened which was great because it wasn't that crowded and the weather was cool and we stayed until 1ish and as you will be able to tell by all the pictures the kids LOVED it!

Luca is about 38" tall so he was able to ride on some rides by himself.

Olivia is above 32" which there were a small handful of rides that she could go on but this wasn't one of them.

I hope this never happens to them in real life!

Maybe next year he'll be able to ride all the big kid rides?

But for now, he'll have to ride with Mommy and Papa which we LOVE!

Even though Olivia was too short for this ride the guy told us as long as her brother was with him she could ride it.

But she insisted she wanted the purple car so the guy just let her ride all by herself.

Olivia was not happy she wasn't allowed to ride the swings, Luca loved it.

They loved the alligator ride.

And Luca HAD to ride on the helicopter. 

But for now, they have to ride with a parent on things like a Ferris Wheel, but we had fun, too!

We were ALL exhausted by 1pm but had a great time.  We were also broke by 1pm, too!  I can't get over how much we spent in 4 hours. We didn't even get an elephant ear or cotton candy!  Maybe next year we'll just pack a lunch so we can eat the good stuff!  The smiles on our kids faces was worth all of it.  I love experiencing the joy they have, what a fun age!
