I could have swore I posted a blog last year about a market study Olivia was in when she turned 3, but I cannot find it. Ohio States Psychology Department asked her to do the study again at age 4. I personally love market studies because they are so interesting. They did pretty much the exact same study as last year but the extended it a little bit. I go in a room with a double side mirror with Olivia. They have some toys on the floor that she immediately plays with. A lady comes in with a small paper plate with one M&M and one gummy bear. They ask Olivia which one she would like. She picked the gummy bear and they told her she could also have both. Then a girl comes in and starts playing with her and talks to her. About 5 minutes after playing she puts on this wolf mask. Olivia had the same reaction as last year she froze and looked at me and was a little unsure. She stopped playing. Then the lady takes off the mask and asks if she wants to touch it. Eventually, I get out of the room and they do all types of tests ie to point to a pic that is day and point to a pic that is night. Then they tell her when they say "Day" to to point to the night pic. It's a little confusing for her but she eventually got it. I was so proud of her because this was over a 2 hour study and she did so great! At the very end they bring her a tray with 2 paper plates. One plate has 2 gummy bears on it, the other has 10 gummy bears. They told her that if she could wait until the lady came back she could have the one with 10 gummy bears, but if she couldn't wait she could ring the bell and eat the 2 gummy bears. I was not in the room with her but I watched her the entire time. I could not believe that she patiently waited 15 minutes in a room by herself with no toys or anything and patiently waited to get all 10 gummy's. Such a smart girl!
We also had her 4 year well visit and she was in the 50th percentile for height, weight and BMI.

Happy Independence Day!
We had such a great time at my sisters cottage in Sand-point, Michigan. They have a cottage up north and I'm so glad we decided to go up there during the 4th of July! It was perfect weather, the kids LOVED the beach & playing with their cousin, we BBQ'd, had smores, and watched fireworks on the beach with my family. I'm thinking the 4th might be my favorite new holiday if we get to celebrate it like that every year! Love it.
I love buying Gabri the same clothes as O. Here they are in the same bathing suit I bought them. So cute!

I loved this in black and white. I'm so happy that they have each other.
Walking on the beach, look at how happy their faces are!
Love her to pieces ♥
Here she is modeling for me.
Pretty, Pretty girl!
Uncle Chris gave them rides on their jet skis and they LOVED it!
Luca on the jet skis.
Gabri and Olivia were having so much fun together.
They loved running on the beach. Olivia looks like a baywatch girl here!
Gabri running!
Smooch!
Right back at ya!
So pretty!
Corey took Luca, too.
Luca and Gabri.
My handsome little man.
He wanted to show me his guns.
Boat ride.
Fishing
The kids spent most of the time in the cabin of the boat while we were all fishing.
Peek-A-Boo!
Corey trying to catch a fish.
Mary trying, too.
Yummy treats after dinner.
So sweet.
Corey was making the kids laugh and it worked for Olivia and Gabri, but Luca is like What!?
Now he's smiling but O's sticking her tongue out.
Family pic on the beach! This turned out great, thanks Mary! ♥
Sunset at Sandpoint.
Next year we will have to get dressed up at night instead of the morning to get some beautiful sunset pictures.
SMORES!
She loved roasting the marshmallows.
Yum!
Some family photos.
Me and my girl.
This would've been so cute if Luca would've been a little more cooperative. :(

More wishes
Whenever one of the kids have an eyelash that is on their face I grab it and say "finger or thumb?" If they guess the right answer of where the eyelash is, they get to make a wish. Luca had one today and his wish was "I wish to love you, Papa and Olivia forever!" I had to write it down to put in their book. Sweetest thing ever!

Hershey Park!!!
I think it's so awesome that Olivia told us a few weeks before her Birthday that when she was going to blow out her candles she was going to wish to go to "Chocolate City." I think the reason why she said that was because Luca's wish on his Birthday was to go to Gotham City. Olivia loves chocolate so she assumed there was a Chocolate City. Corey and I talked about how we should take them to Hershey Park. Later on, Corey's new employer had an Employee Summit and it was family-friendly and was held at Hershey Park just 2 days after her Birthday so we were all invited! It was soo nice. What is also cool is that my cousin is getting married in March in NYC so Luca's wish will come true, too!
Here we are at the hotel. The sheets even have Hershey Kisses, can you see it?

When we arrived they had a big dinner at the hotel for the employees and the Hershey and
Reese Chocolate caricatures were there for the kids. They also had a separate
buffet that was kid-friendly foods. It was so reassuring
knowing that Corey made the right decision to work for this company.
Olivia was in heaven when they had Hershey Chocolate Cake!
Getting comfy at the Hotel Lobby. After dinner, they gave us tickets to do a preview of the park from 7pm to 10pm.
We were waiting for Corey so the kids kept taking pictures of eachother while we were waiting. Olivia took this one of Luca and I.
Luca took this one of Olivia and I. I guess I should just have the kids take more pictures so I will be in more of them! :)
The following day they had a breakfast for all the families and then Corey had training from 9am to 3pm and the spouses and kids got tickets for the park. We've never been to this park and the kids and Corey & I LOVED it.
They were the perfect age and there was plenty of rides and the lines were not long at all.
Luca looks like he's getting older. I still am in shock that he will start in Kindergarten in just a couple of months.
The kids loved all the chocolate guys!
Milk Duds are one of my favorite.
THe kids would spot a character and would say take a picture. I think they wanted a picture with everyone!
I didn't know Jolly Ranchers were part of Hersheys.
I love this picture.
This one, too.
They had the BEST waterpark. I like this amusement park because it's always hot when you stand in line, this one had an amazing water park section that was included and there was a lazy river, kiddie wave pools, slides for kids, it was awesome!
The sweetest thing is after the training was over everyone met at the designated area for dinner and they had two cakes one for Olivia and one for a boy named Max who just had a birthday. Olivia was so happy when about 200 people were singing Happy Birthday to her!
I love this picture! I know we usually make a pretty big deal out of her Birthday every year, but I hope she doesn't think this is normal! :)
So happy! Luca said "this is the best day ever!"
