So I have to write this down because I know I will forget but Luca says the funniest things! I have no pictures to post just stories to share.
I asked Luca if he wanted to go to Sams Club with me and he said Yeah! Once we got to Sams Club Luca said "Where's Sam?" I said " We are at Sams Club." He said "No this is a store, where's Sam?" It made me laugh so hard!
This happened a while ago but as you all know Luca LOVES tools. One day I was teaching him the difference between a Phillips screwdriver and a flat head screwdriver. I said "This is a Phillips screwdriver" and he said "No! My screwdriver, not Phillips!"
Lately, he's been telling me his name is Luca Joseph but it sounds more like "Luca Jo-fish." He makes me laugh everyday, love that kid!

Weekend with Nonna, Nonno, Zia & Gabri!

I got to spend a lot of time with niece, Gabri. She is such a good baby. I seriously don't think she ever cries unless my kids are doing something to make her cry. What a great baby she is and I think it's because Mary and Chris do such a great job with her.
My parents bought Gabri and Olivia the same matching outfits & Pj's. So you will notice the entire weekend they were almost wearing the same thing everyday.
Luca and Olivia's first time sledding. Olivia didn't care for it much as you can tell by the picture.
My 72 year old father pulling my sister (running) and two kids. I seriously don't know where he gets all his energy.
Now he's pushing my sister & Olivia. Olivia was much happier in zia's arms.

Gabri is so smart! She can put her arms up on demand, clap, and wave hello. She also says Mama and Dada it's so cute. I swore it sounded like she was saying Luca's name, too. She's on her way to crawling soon. She can scoot around and I think it's a sign she'll be on the move soon!

More bedtime and matching pj photos. Maybe next year we can find a unisex pj set so Luca can be included too.
We have a really nice hill in our side yard but Luca was afraid to go fast so I try to slow him down using my weight!
It was a great week having my family here. I love my life and it would be even better if they lived here in Columbus with me. Maybe someday!

Cold Winter Days...
Luca got a new bike for Xmas and was giving it a spin on a cold winter day!
They also got a few movies for Xmas so they are always asking to watch a movie. I just love how they sit together like this - they are too adorable!
I can't believe how quickly he learned to ride his bike. He's so happy!

Happy New Year ~ 2011
Corey and I had a great New Year! We celebrated at our friends, Brian & Jes' house who hosted a wonderful dinner party. The food & drinks they made were excellent and there were about 12 people so it was very nice to get to talk to everyone there. We had a fabulous time and unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures of the party. Here we are with the entire family. My parents came in town so they could watch the kids for us. They are staying for a few days and then will be leaving for Florida again.
Today when he came into our room he said "You went to a party...and you wore your belt?" He says the funniest things!
Olivia's hair is long enough that I can actually put her hair in REAL pigtails - not just the sides. They were soo cute on her! She's really starting to look more like a toddler and not a baby anymore which makes me so sad that she's growing up so fast.
She loves this fish game that Santa bought and she'll say "I did it!" every time she catches a fish. I'm pretty impressed b/c it's not easy and it's for ages 4 and up and she can do it!
2010 Goals
#1. Potty train Luca this year. CHECK - Luca was potty trained in August - I was hoping to potty train him before summer but I think it's pretty good that he was potty trained at 2 1/2 years old so I'm happy! PLUS he does not wear any type of diapers during naptime or bedtime which is great!
#2 Do more Market Studies - CHECK I averaged about 1 market study a month which I'm happy with!
#3 Start Reading More - Semi-Check. I read three books which I was hoping to reading one a month - we'll try that again in 2011. At least is was better than nothing, right?
#4 Get Luca involved in gymnastic or music class - CHECK I enrolled Luca in a 2 1/2 hour a week extended movement class which he LOVES and I love, too!
#5 Food - More Organics and homemade food - CHECK We bought a 1/2 cow from a farm, bought a huge deep freezer, and have made so many homemade foods for the kids rather than buying them at the store that we freeze such as sweet potato waffles, sweet potato french toast, banana pancakes and a ton of other foods that I won't bore you with.
#6 Work out - CHECK We joined a fabulous gym which I love and I take about 3 classes a week - I did slack off all summer by laying out at the gym pool instead of working out but that's kind of a workout, right?
2011 Goals
#1. Even though I do workout three times a week, I need to make a specific goal. I am pretty much have hit my pre-pregnancy weight BUT my stomach has stretched out so much from having 8 pound babies that I need to work more on my abs and measure my waistline and work on a waistline goal for myself.
#2. Potty train Olivia by the end of the summer 2011.
#3. Sell our house! Yes, I know we just moved in a little over a year ago but Luca will be 3 this year and in 2 years will start kindergarten. We would like our kids to go to the same school district as where Corey teaches so I'm hoping we can sell our house painlessly and fast. We are planning on putting it on the market in the spring. This does make me sad because I LOVE our house - it's our dream home, it's perfect, except for the school district it's in. :(
#4. Go on more date nights with Corey. I think if I actually counted how many times we went out just the two of us for dinner date night in 2010 it might be about 3 or 4 times. Some of the moms in my group have talked about doing a babysitting swap for monthly date nights where I will watch their kids for one night a month and they will repay the favor each month so it would be free babysitting and I would feel comfortable leaving my kids with an adult who is also a mother & knows my kids.

Olivia's 18 Month Check-Up

| Olivia had her 18 Month well visit even though she wasn't feeling so well. She has an ear infection. I felt so bad because I didn't really know. Last night she was fussy and I was thinking maybe her teeth were bothering her. When she woke up this morning she was crying and had a runny nose and felt a little warm. When I took her to the doctors I asked if they could take her temp and she had a temp of 99.4. Poor baby. |

| She weighted 23 pounds which was in the 25th percentile. The doc said he can see her teeth in her gums, it's just a waiting game for them to come. He said he's never had a patient that never had teeth and not to worry. He told me if it would make me feel better I could get xrays done at a pediatric dentist but he really didn't think it was necessary because he can see that she has teeth we just have to wait for them to come in. |

Christmas Day!
Christmas was so much fun this year! Luca was so excited. When he first woke up I was surprised that he didn't mention anything about Santa... I think he forgot it was Christmas Day. He did his normal routine of coming into our room and laying in bed with us and watched cartoons. We let him watch his cartoons and then I reminded him that Santa came last night! He was so excited. We woke Olivia up and took them downstairs to see all the presents under the Xmas tree!

| We spent Christmas at Grammy & Poppy's house. They had us over for a nice dinner and of course tons of presents that everyone loved. Aunt JuJu, Uncle Kevin, Evie and Elle were there, too! The kids had so much fun playing together. |

| We bought the kids a bouncy house! They love bouncy houses. It's in our bonus room and pretty much takes up most of the space. We were a little sad that there was a hole in the seam so we are going to have to take it back already! |

| But we're going to let the kids play with it a couple more days and just keep inflating it since we know all the stores, especially, Toys R' Us where we got this will be packed the next few days. |

Christmas Eve
On Christmas Eve, we decided to stay in and bake some cookies with the kids and get them excited about Christmas the next morning. Ideally, I would like to take the kids to church but last year we were there 20 minutes early and there were no seats, so we decided not to go this year.
Luca did a great job decorating cookies for Santa and was so excited. He even made a cookie for Olivia.
