Olivia to the Rescue

My parents are in town from Michigan and they took the kids to Graeters Ice Cream for, well, ice cream and they also have a huge play area.  While the kids the were playing, there was a little boy that was messing with Luca and Olivia stepped in and started yelling and pointing at the kid "Don't punch my brother, you're being a bad boy!"  I love that she is so assertive when she needs to be and that she defends and has her big brothers back.  A few days ago, we were a the gym and a little girl was covering her hand over the water spout which got water in Olivia's face and after asking her stop several times, she finally stepped in again using her very assertive voice and pointing that if she doesn't stop she's going to tell her mommy on her!  I love that she doesn't just cry and come to me, she takes care of the situation herself.  We told her not to point in the girls face like that but she did a good job telling her to stop.  She is the friendliest little girl who will play with anyone, but when someone isn't playing nicely she's not afraid to tell them which I really admire about her!
