They're Baaaack!

Yay! My kids are back after being at their grandparents house for a week! Corey's last day of work was June 5th and we both had so much to do that we decided it would be a good idea if the kids weren't around for all of our big projects. Corey had an end of the year school party, Lax tournaments, a deadline for a huge grant that took hours of his time, and building our patio. I also had a lot going on with a Bachelorette Party, I made dinner for a friend who just had a baby and made dinner & spent some time helping another friend who had twins, I hosted a Birthday party dinner & helped plan my sisters Baby Shower that I'm so thrilled that we are finally throwing a shower for her!

Luca did an amazing thing while he was gone. He learned how to go #2 in the potty which was a huge challenge for me and he's never done it at home. He did it 4 days in a row while he was gone! (one time was not in the potty but all over the floor - oops!) Great timing to start potty training this summer.

Olivia is starting to learn how to say some words like "bah" for ball and "Bubba" for bubbles. She also is walking more than she is crawling. It really looked like she grew within one week. She definitely filled out probably from eating too much pasta.

So here's pictures of the patio. We had a huge help from Corey's mom, dad & brother-in-law, Kevin. We appreciate all their help such as making several trips to Home Depot and for all of the heavy lifting, bending, raking, sawing and many hours of hard labor to help put this thing together. Thanks everyone for all your help ~ also to my family for helping take care the kids for a week! I know they had a great time.
