A cute pic of Luca that I recently took. He's one good lookin' stud. The house is coming along....they started to put the stone and stucco and the entire house has been drywalled. We are looking forward to seeing kitchen cabinets in the house next week! And one pic of Olivia in her bathing suit that her Aunt Mary bought. (The matching shoes fell off her feet they were too big)

Today we had Jen Simon come over to take pics of Olivia. I'm very excited to see what she took she's very talented! Here are some recent pics with Olivia and her nonno and nonna, cuddle time with Dad, and Luca wearing Corey's shoes.

Today Grammy and Papi took Luca to the pool. I walked Olivia so she could watch her big brother swim and she seems to love the outdoors. She fell asleep which she didn't do much that night. She was up from 10pm until 2am crying. Corey had to sleep with her on the couch and she fell asleep lying on her belly. We think she lying on her back upsets her stomach.

Today we took Olivia home at around 1:30. Luca woke up from his nap just in time as we arrived and welcomed Olivia with lots of kisses and hugs. It was precious. Aunt Mary and Uncle Leo visited us. Olivia did pretty well and slept 3 hours in a row twice which was pretty good.

Olivia's 2 days old today! We had a lot of visitors - Nonna, Nonno, Grammy, Papi, Uncle Nate, Aunt Julie, Uncle Kevin, Evie, Jackie and a few moms from my Moms group came to visit. Luca loves giving his little sister kisses! He's been really good with her so far and we know he'll be a great big brother to his little sister, Olivia.

June 18, 2009 Olivia's Arrival

Olivia Giovanna Andres was born today at 12:45 PM. She weighed 8 lbs. 3 oz and was 20.5 inches long. I was supposed to get induced at 6am this morning but I ended up getting contractions at 3:30am. We went to the hospital at 6am and I was 4cm dilated. I had to wait about an hour for the epidural and was about 7cm dilated by the time I got it. I could still feel a lot of pain so they had to give me more and then I felt nothing at all. It was such a weird feeling to not be able to feel my legs. This pregnancy was definitely different than with Luca but it was all worth it after seeing my beautiful little girl. I really think she looks different than Luca but then there are some days where she does look like him. She's definitely smaller featured than Luca and even though she weighed more she's longer and skinnier than him. She has very long legs

We took Luca to the pool today with his Nonna and Nonno. He had a blast showing off his dance moves to everyone. This is also a pic of me with 8 more days to go. I have to say, I definitely look much bigger in person. It must be the suns reflections or just a good angle.

Windows, shingles, garage door and mudroom door are all in. Front door is ordered and coming in next week. Plus, they found our water line...THANK GOD! Otherwise, we would have had to dig across the street to get to the line which would have made us WAY over budget.

Look at how quickly they framed this house! One week!! Tomorrow they put the stairs in and start the exterior trim work so they can put shingles on the house. Windows go in on Friday!! This is going by so quickly.
